Top Ten Tuesday: What Books Would You Re-Read?

This weekly meme is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

Top Ten Books I Want to Re-Read
I chose these books because I either loved them or when I finished reading them I needed further clarity because the book left me feeling like I didn't have closure.

  1. I don't really reread books, but if I did, I would reread most of the books on your list. Well...those I have read. I haven't read The color Purple

  3. I love your choices! A Time to Kill was a big favorite of mine so I'm glad that you consider it reread-worthy. I've read The Color Purple as well and it was fabulous. A few others are on my wishlist, but there are a few I haven't heard off - *off to goodreads*.

  6. Interesting choices. I read some, heard of others, but the only two I really remember well are the last two, and I see how one would want to reread them to get better to the sense of them. It's something I do at the end of almost all of my reads, though, so I don't count that as reread :-) and now I wouldn't really want to go back to either of those two novels.
Thanks for commenting on my blog!

  10. I'd re-read the Harry Potter series. Which I porobably will sometime.

I had no idea Women of Brewster Place was a book too and that Gloria Naylor wrote it. I must be living under a rock. But I LOVE that movie. I couldn't get into The Color Purple book. But the movie...EPIC. I love to watch it when they play it on TV.

  12. The Color Purple and The Joy Luck Club are two books that I know I have to read and I'm a little ashamed of myself that I haven't already. This list has reminded me of many great, practically classic books that I haven't read yet and need to.

    Thanks for visiting my blog!

  20. Fight Club and The Joy Luck Club are books I should probably reread too. Fight Club is one of the few cases where I prefer the movie to the book, but maybe I'd change my mind if I read it again.

  30. I think the Film version of the Fight Club is awesome. I try to catch it whenever it comes on television. I don't think I will re-read any of the books on my list anytime soon because my TBR pile is so high already. I did like the film, The Hours, but have yet to read the book. I haven't read Beloved in such a long time, but the film version has grown on me over the years.

Thanks everyone for stopping by, hope you'll visit again real soon.
