Bestseller Book Giveaways: Brighten Your Day

I have been so tired  from being at ICU with my granny all last week and this week. So to say I'm tired, that would really be an understatement. Not to say no one else is just as or if not more exhausted than I am, because I'm sure you are all dealing with the twists and turns that life throws at us.

But this week has just begun and I just need a pick me up. So I thought maybe my wonderful followers need a pick me up too. Life is life for everyone right? So this week, I'll be giving away two books. I will list four to choose from. I hope this helps brighten someone's day.

Rules: Just comment and make sure you are following my blog. That's it...nothing fancy. I'm too tired to be creative. :-) And I will choose two winners randomly by random.org. International followers are welcome to join the giveaway as well, if you have a U.S. address to use, that would be greatly appreciated, if not you will still get your book if you win.

Have a wonderful Tuesday and enjoy your week. And please pass this giveaway info along to somone else, maybe we can brighten up their day too. And thank you all for the encouragement. Every time my phone beeped while I was sitting in the ICU waiting area and it said I had a new comment on my blog, it gave me a smile. It took some of the worry away for just a moment and sometimes that's all we need in life are those little moments of happiness.

Blessings,
Lena

The contest will end Sunday, June19th, 2011 at midnight.

  8. Thanks everyone for your kind and generous words and prayers. I can use them and sure could Granny. Thanks tremendously. Back to the ICU I go and I hope you all have a wonderful week and I'm looking forward to seeing who wins the giveaway. But what really intrigues me is seeing which book a person chooses when they win. Books say alot about a person, so I like to see what people are interested in reading.

Thanks again, BooksnYarn, Ms. Pettaway, Mickey, J.L, Sidne, Jade and Susie for your support and prayers.

Thanks for tweeting it too J.L. :-)

    Blessings to you all.

  10. *tears* Thanks Ebony Eyes. I know you would. I do. I'm ok so far. Sleep deprived more than anything. Thank you. Thank you.

  11. Hope your grandmother will be OK. And you. Take it easy!

I would love to enter the giveaway as the books look great. Both Divergent and Goon Squad are books I really want to read. Mama Ruby looks great just from the cover. I've read all of the Stieg Larsson books (twice!) so that's the only one I would not want to win but... that's also a fantastic book.

Hope you don't mind... I'm from Europe - but I run mostly international giveaways myself, so I hope that makes up for it, a bit.

Have a good week, Lena, as far as possible.

  13. Thanks very much Leeswammes. I've seen all of Stieg Larsson's books (the films). I have yet to read any of them. But my sister said they are great books. I loved the film versions, I watched them several times. Thanks for the well wishes, I am definitely going to rest tonight. I'm moving on empty so I have no choice. Thanks for stopping by Leeswammes, I love having my international followers!

Thank you for the kind words Lineofserenity. I am definitely getting some rest. Thanks for stopping by as well.

  15. Hi Lena, I'm so sorry to hear about your granny, but glad for you both that you are there to be with her. I'm sure it means a lot to her. (Don't worry about the blog if you need a little break, though sometimes blogging is helpful in its own way.)

  25. I can totally relate. I used to be at the hospital everyday when my grandma was put in the ICU.
Is she out of the hospital? I hope she's getting better now.

I have read Divergent and it was really good. Uhm, I haven't read The Millennium Trilogy, but i've seen the first (the Swedish one) of the three movies and there's an American version of it coming out this year. I saw the trailer when I watched X-Men: First Class with my friends. XD

By the way, I'm not entering the giveaway. Thanks though.

    Goodluck everyone! (:
