In My Mailbox Monday

I didn't get much this week. It's been a crazy week and the weekend appears to have just flown by me. I feel like I missed it all together. But I did manage to buy some Kindle books earlier in the week. So here's what I got on my Kindle for iPad.

Whispers in the Night by Tananarive Due and Brandon Massey

Fledgling by Octavia E. Butler

Only His by Susan Mallery

Welp, that's all I got. :-(

What books have you recently bought, checked out or received?

  4. Thanks Rachel, I will be over there ASAP. Thanks for stopping by. I hadn't heard anything about it, it was in my price range and had some good ratings on Amazon so I got it. I hope it's good.

Karen, this week went by so fast, I still don't know what I did. It seems the older I get, the faster time goes by, but when I was younger it took forever for birthdays and Christmases to come around. Thanks for reading some of my posts today.

  8. Thanks y'all. I guess 3 books isn't bad. Sometimes I get so use to getting a bigbole stash that when I don't get as many as feel like the kid that didn't get any birthday cake. But 3 is awesome and I happy with that. :-) thanks everyone for reminding how great that is.

  9. You'll never be at a loss for a book to read! lol

I'm so busy writing, keeping house, and tending to my heath, that I hardly have time to read a book, but I am reading (a few pages here; a few pages there)"The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks." It's good and very well written!

  10. Lena, I get nervous when I get more books in a week than I can read, because I feel that I should read every single book that enters my house, and read it soon. So, 3 books would be just fine to me.

Especially Fledgling! I read Kindred which I very much enjoyed. Unfortunately, in the Netherlands (at least where I live) neither the library nor the book stores have books by Butler (I know, I checked). A real pity.

    Happy reading this week.
